Their target was never Peter Obi’s brother. It wasn't directly Peter Obi either.
The target is us, Nigerians. They want to gauge our reactions and resolve by gradually picking on the Obi, whom we claim to love and support, and who is audaciously mobilizing us for democratic revolution.
If the reaction is cold, not violent in confrontation, they’ll strike Obi, directly. They will believe that Obi’s support base has lost steam and strength to match the brutality that is coming.
When the “shepherd is taken out, the sheep will scamper.”
What happened to Obi’s brother is a tip of the iceberg. It is too little compared to what they have planned next for Obi himself.
As I had predicted, Peter Obi may not be allowed to do a statewide rally in some states in 2027. Obidients have to be prepared to confront or settle for grassroots canvassing, by then.
And let me add, if these contrived, well-executed persecution against Obi is allowed to continue, we should all forget about the 2027 elections. No one will be able to stand the v!olence that will play out.
Hope this helps.
